Hey Y'all! I'm Eugene T. Barnes. I'm a husband, a father, an entrepreneur and oh yeah...a full time stand-up comedian! I love getting to do what I love everyday but I didn't always have that privilege. I managed a small coffee shop in NYC for about 8 years, for legal reasons I can't say their name but it rhymes with...Garbucks. I don't even drink coffee! I was miserable. I finally left and got a job as a manager of a retail store. After less than a year that company filed for bankruptcy and I got laid off. I went to my wife, who was six months pregnant with our second child at the time and told her I wanted to do comedy full time. After she cussed me out...she agreed. That was six years ago and not only do I get to travel the world as a comedian and host, we also started As One Entertainment, a live event production company. So what does all this mean? You should book me because my kids need to eat!
